With more than 40 years in the golf industry as a competitor, an instructor, and a manager, and as the Director of Golf at Cordova Bay, Jim has a passion for developing young golf talent. Jim is a former provincial and national junior champion and NCAA Division I college player. He has been a Canadian PGA member since 1979, and he is a Co-Founder and Commissioner of the very successful Junior Golf Victoria.

Director of Programming
With 25 years’ experience in the high end private golf clubs as an administrator, instructor, and club fitter, Jason has a passion for developing golfers using old school wisdom combined with modern technology. He has received multiple awards from the PGA of British Columbia and Canada and serves as the latter’s Learning Facilitator for Equipment Fitting training of new PGA of Canada Associate Professionals.

Director of Operations
A former competitive junior and collegiate golfer, Bob has experience as a senior manager in the public and private sectors, experience which he uses to support both the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the Academy. He has more than 20 years’ experience working with programs for young golfers including the Junior Golf Victoria.

DR. BEN STEBBINS
Director of Fitness
As a Titleist Performance Institute certified medical professional with a Master of Science in Sports Medicine, Ben focusses on creating golf “athletes” by promoting resilient pain-free golf through perfecting movement and building strength and athleticism. Not only does he want to help you perform better, but also he wants you to be able to do it for years to come.
“First, you must become an athlete, and then you can become a champion. Our entire staff at the Academy’s on-site fitness facility are dedicated to helping its students achieve that.”
DR. KEVIN JACKSON
Director of Health and Nutrition
It is well known that to achieve peak physical performance, athletes must optimize their diet and nutritional intake. Over the decades that Kevin has studied nutrition and diet he’s learned that an optimal diet also keeps athletes at the top of their game mentally as well.
“Just like you put the right type of gasoline in your car, you need the right fuel to optimize the performance of your ‘golf’ engine.”
With nine professional wins world-wide as a member of six different professional golf tours (including the Asian and PGA Tours), Jim knows what it takes to compete at the highest level.

An All-American at Brigham Young University, Rick won professional events on both the Asian and Japan Professional Golf Tours and has represented Canada at the World Cup six times. A resident of Manila, Rick has recently been appointed Head Coach of the Philippine National Golf Teams enjoying much early success including a Gold Medal for Women’s Golf at the 2018 Asian Games with a team comprised of Yuka Saso, Bianca Pagdaganan, and L.K. Go

Originally from Southern California where he competed nationally at the highest junior level on the AJGA tour, Eric went on to captain the NCAA Division I University of California, Irvine, golf team. After turning professional and playing on the Asia, Web.com and the PGA Tour Canada tours, Eric trained with some of Golf Digest’s top ranked instructors in America and now has over 20 years of coaching experience. He coaches in both English and Mandarin.
Former Canadian Junior Champion and Team Canada member, Naomi recently graduated from North Carolina State University where she was a member of the Women’s Golf Team. She has qualified for 6 LPGA events including the 2016 and 2019 Women’s US Open.
